Hello,
For two months now, I have been sharing with you, every Thursday and Sunday, the most useful insights we've gained about motor learning. The child who falls two thousand times. The myth of repetition. The session performance that proves nothing. The brain that predicts instead of commands. It's time to tell you where all this was leading.
All these nuggets describe the same thing, from different angles.
Movement is not an order sent down to the muscles, it's a reading. The body perceives, predicts, acts, corrects, in a loop, very quickly.
This is what we call at LabO RNP the sensory-motor loop.
Learning to move well, performing well, recovering well, all come down to a loop that perceives accurately.
And when this loop disconnects somewhere, at a joint, on a sensory system, on one side of the body, a simple thing happens. At that precise spot, the body is in the dark.
It works with bad information. It is neither weak nor fragile, it just can't see. So it compensates, it stiffens, it plateaus, it gets injured again in the same place. And you can correct the gesture a hundred times, as long as the input remains false, the correct gesture will not come on its own.
Our work is in three steps. Read where it's dark, for that person. Reignite the missing information there. And make it last, without you. That's RNP, Neuro-Postural Reprogramming. Not just another technique to stack up, but a framework to read the sensory-motor loop and intervene at the source.
For two months, we have given you motor learning. Because it's the foundation, and because it's only our starting point.
The framework itself is learned, and the best place to start is the introduction to RNP, offered for free.
Read where it's dark. Reignite. Make it last.
