Discover how Adrien Chartier transformed his training method through archaic reflexes, combining sports experience and a functional approach.
In this episode of the "1/4h LabO" podcast, Adrien Chartier shares his fascinating journey in the world of combat sports and how he adapted his training approach in response to recurring injuries.
Adrien presents himself as a combat sports enthusiast, having started at the age of 8. His experience includes:
Throughout his journey, he also worked as a physical trainer and coach for a sports federation, developing federal certifications and projects around cross-training.
Adrien addresses two major issues:
After two years of suffering, he endured chronic shoulder tendinitis, making even driving difficult. He also experienced pain in his left knee, prompting him to seek solutions.
He observed that many athletes struggled to apply suitable solutions for their pain or to improve their technique, especially with an already packed schedule.
To overcome his own limits and those of his clients, Adrien trained in functional approaches. He completed various training programs, including:
Although improvements were noted, he was not entirely satisfied with the results achieved.
To better understand movement and motor skills, Adrien deepened his knowledge of archaic reflexes and functional neurology. His training around the world, particularly in Australia and America, allowed him to make connections between different disciplines and enrich his practice.
This specialization paved the way for quick and effective solutions to improve individuals' posture and motor skills, not through magic, but through a deep understanding of movement.
Today, Adrien primarily works with two types of individuals:
He will present his findings in a special webinar, offering insights on the impact of archaic reflexes on motor skills.
Adrien invites us to join him on Sunday evening to discover how these reflexes can transform the lives of those we support. See you soon!
